Ekadashi Vrat Katha
Ekadashi Vrat is one of the most sacred observances in Sanatan Dharma, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. Ekadashi falls on the 11th lunar day (Tithi) of both Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha every month. Observing Ekadashi with devotion, fasting, and katha-shravan is believed to destroy sins and grant moksha, prosperity, and divine grace.
According to the Puranas, Ekadashi Devi was manifested from Lord Vishnu to destroy the demon Mura, who was causing suffering to gods and humans. Pleased with her devotion and strength, Lord Vishnu granted her a boon that whoever observes Ekadashi Vrat with faith, fasting, and devotion will be freed from sins and attain Vishnu Lok.
